Cataract on Paterson’s support Launceston General Hospital with generous donation | The Examiner

A New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by Cataract on Paterson has led to the generous donation of more than $5,000 to go towards redevelopment for the children’s ward at the Launceston General Hospital. The funds have been earmarked by staff to go towards the courtyard area. Currently, the courtyard is a paved recreation area – pediatrician Dr Jodie Delanty said staff were looking forward to creating a more inviting space. “Courtyards are there to be enjoyed by patients and families during their admission, and we know that spending time in the ward isn’t a pleasant experience all the time,” she said.
