Coronavirus restrictions at Launceston Cup will include seated drinking | The Examiner




Patrons attending the Launceston Cup tomorrow will be asked to stay seated while consuming alcohol unless in a designated area in order to keep the event COVID safe, says the turf club. Launceston Turf Club chief executive officer Natalie Waters said the organisation had worked closely with the Health Department to put in place a level three event framework. She said set up was well underway and that they were excited for the event to be able to proceed. As part of the COVID-19 precautions patrons will be asked to sign in via QR code when entering the cup.
