HOBART is the fourth most expensive city in Australia, a national property report has revealed.
With a median dwelling value – houses and units combined – of $535,994, Hobart has leapt over Brisbane by a few hundred dollars.
The southernmost capital has been more expensive than Adelaide, Perth and Darwin for many months.
CoreLogic’s February Home Value Index revealed 8.7 per cent annual growth in Hobart, second only to Darwin.
