Tasmanian Integrity Commission’s weakness in the spotlight during state election campaign | The Advocate

Independent candidate Sue Hickey says she will demand legislation be immediately developed to strengthen the Integrity Commission or create a new body should she hold the balance of power in the new Parliament. Ms Hickey said the Integrity Commission did not have the funding to operate as it should and legislation had been brought in which threatened the commission’s independence.
